Having always been captivated by fashion and beauty, Itaysha fell in love with the medium of photography in high school - and soon realized her calling. She didn't know exactly how this desire to be a fashion photographer would pan but that didn't stop her from putting in the work to make this dream a reality. On this episode, Itaysha discusses the highs and lows of navigating the New York City photography scene, creating a signature style, building clientele, cultivating relationships and the road to defining what success, in the end, looks like for her. She shares her personal #dreamdriving journey and how she's been able to work with big names & brands such as Essence, Tracee Ellis Ross, Taraji P. Henson, Iman, Issa Rae, and more. Meet Medina - creative strategist, speaker, entrepreneur and founder of =SPACE, a Newark, New Jersey- based co-working shared space & Incubator. Medina saw a need to design a space where multi-cultural, LGBTQA, and women-owned startups could work and build a community. Wanderlust, writer, entrepreneur, public speaker and travel influencer Jessica Nabongo is the first documented Black woman to travel to all 195 countries in the world. How did she do it? What was her journey like? Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan to Ugandan parents - She attended St. John's University in New York, where she earned her undergraduate degree in English literature. In just a few years after college, she started (and ended) a career in pharmaceutical sales, moved to Japan to teach English, and completed a graduate degree at the London School of Economics. She realized that the conventional American way of living and existing wasn't for her so she set out to create life on her own terms. On today's episode you'll learn how she's used travel to create a record-breaking #dreamdriving journey. We'll also discuss how you can accomplish the BIG goals/dreams you have for your own life.
