Listen Now to Dr.Mrs. Future Show 12.29.2020 Our final show of the year, Mrs. Future shares her concern for the rise of snitch culture and other disturbing trends in today’s mid-Covid world.  Though Covid consciousness still dominates the news cycle of today, we nonetheless delve a bit into the latest space news.  After many months, Billy Sunshine checks in during our discussion of EMP pulses and the  Coast to Coast radio show and suggests  that his size 15 feet could qualify as Bigfoot and has a idea for a new late night show. We spend much of the second hour reviewing our top stories of 2020, such as the evolution of fakes news and Project Starlink.  We end with us, Bobby and some of our favorite callers sharing their wishes and vision for 2021. Happy New Year!

Listen Now to The Dr. Mrs. Future Show 12.22.2020 Open lines today and we got some great calls. Fun stories on the grand Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, the Christmas Star, a highlight of our week. Quite intriguing was Marsha’s story of a new clock running backward, from her rabbit hole in the redwood forests of Los Gatos. We tried a little experiment this week, bringing in some alien stories during the bright light of the day, as opposed to late night radio.  Turns out callers way prefer to talk about politics in the day, go figure..anyway we had fun bringing in some great alien stories, including the retired with nothing to lose Israeli security chief who claims we’ve had high level contact with space aliens for some time. If you like political thought, we cover the gamut with Col Terry on the left and Don on the right, at this most contentious moment in the American political landscape. A particular focus on the Russian influences were discussed by both our left and right call-in pundits.  Enjoy! The great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn - The Christmas Star

Listen Now to Dr. Bruce Damer 12.15.2020 One of our favorite guests, Bruce brings us up to date on the latest asteroid return missions, heralding a new era in our ability to collect samples from off planet in our solar system and bring them back to Earth. We delve a bit into the adventures of Elon Musk’s Starship, and Bruce’s Origin of Life research, including his inclusion in a feature article on the topic in the latest issue of Nature, the scientific journal.  We also discuss mRNA and why that is such a breakthrough approach for vaccines, understanding the creation of life via protocells, the rise of human consciousness as a kind of slime mold in the Gaian field, and our role as imaginal cells in the field. We discuss his collaboration with Dr. David Deamer, and the future of online collaboration with the next generation of scientists. Mrs. Future also reminds us of  the ‘Christmas Star’ that will appear next week, for the first time in hundreds of years.  Enjoy! Dr. Bruce Damer, looking up!

Listen Now to Future News 12.15.2020 The day began with a 3.5 earthquake for us, after a beautiful night of watching the Geminids meteor shower, one of the most spectacular annual stellar events.  The Covid 19 vaccines have begun their mighty distributions and we discuss the differences, such as the value of mRNA. Fun stuff!   It was great to note that our local aircraft company, Joby Aviation, is inking a $75 million deal with Uber, a strong move to make their flying electric VTOL taxi to be a strong contender in that market. While on the ground, Amazon’s transpo company, Zoox, has debuted their first fully autonomous vechicle, guaranteed to speed up ground taxi service and packager delivery! Also, the Chinese have achieved that latest breakthrough in quantum computers, using light rather than electrons for computing. We also had a great conversation about the new iPhone-based DNA sequencer, a kind of tricorder, and Mrs. Future gave a nice report on an existing solar system super highway that will make space travel faster and more affordable. And then, there is the rise of the Xenobots, the first fully biological robots…enjoy! Amazon’s Zoox - first autonomous passenger vehicle

Listen Now to Future News 12.08.2020 A lively show today with the likes of us, including Bobby Wilder in San Francisco.  We report and discuss the Hyabusa 2 Asteroid Sample returns to EarthHyabusa 2 asteroid return mission, the Chinese moon rock return, Elon’s plan to race RC cars on the moon next year (with 1/6 gravity you can get some serious air jumps!), a new Covid test via smartphone, AI’s and Free will, and with Dr. Dan, the amazing Covid treatment results reported so far using the deworming drug, Ivermectin. And lastly Monica McGuire checks in with a report from the Santa Cruz City Council, who have decided to go virtual. Enjoy! Chinese probe returning to Earth with 5 lbs of moon rocks

Listen Now to Jeff Peters on CZU Fire Experience This last week my brothers and I went on a little field trip to check out one of our Boulder Creek neighborhoods that had been devastated by the CZU lightning complex wildfire this last August and September in the Santa Cruz Mountains, very close to our home.  We visited Pinecrest Drive an area not far from Big Basin Vineyards, where my friend Bradley Brown lost his beautiful home to the wild fire. We were stunned at what we found. It looked like  what I imagined a nuclear blast could do. Buildings completely leveled, leaving nothing but ash and debris, molecules that was once someone’s precious belongings. While exploring the area we were intercepted by a guy in a big truck asking what we were doing here, assuming that we were ‘looky loos’, here to check out the sights, or in this case, loss of sites, just rubble where once stood rustic mountain homes. After assuring the driver that we were not the droids he thought we were, we found out that he was a local who had lost his beautiful home and belongings. Before long a couple of other locals arrived and My brothers and I had an opportunity to find out more exactly how it all came down in the Pinecrest neighborhood, and how the residents and the authorities have been dealing with this profound local disaster.  It’s quite a story with many implications, especially for of us living in wild fire threatened mountain neighborhoods. So I thought we’d share it with you. Our guest today is Jeff Peters,  a software engineer who had lived in his dream home with his family for 21 years. Jeff shares the heartbreaking yet hopeful fire story of his family and neighbors, as they grappled with a massive wild fire bearing down on their homes and lives. Jeff Peters and what is left of his dream home

Listen Now to Future News 12.01.2020  Have you heard of the famous SETI WOW signal, a powerful 72-second radio signal from a distant  part of the Monolith in Romaniagalaxy, heard back in 1977?  Using modern 3D galaxy maps, an amateur astronomy may have identified the star system from wence it came. Maybe the mysterious aluminum monolith that keep appearing and disappearing on Earth has a clue for us about WOW, but probably not.  Also of note this week is the Chinese landing on the moon for sending back rocks to Earth. Chang’e 5 has succesfully landed and has begun the task of drilling for core samples. And on the Covid front, a CDC study indicates that Sars Covid-2 was already in the US last December, based on antibody tests on donated Red Cross blood from many states.  We take a closer look.  Enjoy..

Enjoy! Foster and Kimberly Gamble

Listen to Future News 11.24.2020 Certainly the most promising story this week is the Israeli research on reverse aging, the aging process has been biologically reversed for the first time by giving humans oxygen therapy in a pressurised chamber. The researchers claim that telemere length, a key measure of the aging process, shows a lengthing equivalent to 25 years younger for the average subject in the experiment, over a period of three months.  Truly remarkable! Reverse aging oxygen therapy in a pressurized chamber    It was very sad to hear of the demise of the iconic 1000-foot Arecibo radio astronomy dish in Puerto Rico, the end of an era of pioneering research into the electromagnetic mysteries of the universe.  It was uplifting, however, to cover the successes of Jo Ben Bevirt of Joby Aviation, a ‘local boy done good’ in creating actual flying cars, a dream of humanity since the dawn of time. And of course, we give you our latest report on the Covid-19 virus world, with the breaking news surrounding Astro-Zeneca’s offering, with great input from Bobby Wilder, our science correspondent in SF. Enjoy! Joby Aviation’s First ‘Flying Car’

Listen Now to Dr. Future Show 11.17.2020 As we enter into the darkest part of the year and the most infectious period of the virus, we are told that the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are almost ready for us.  Not for all of us at first, but the front line defenders, first responders,  approved fact checkers, and perhaps holders of the coveted Disney Signature Plus passes. In today’s show we delve into these vaccines for your edification, with many callers adding their two cents on our current not quite dire situation. Welcome to our newly achieved Level Purple in the Golden State, the highest level you can get, so far..
