In this episode, I speak with my older brother, Gimmy Cipriano... Yes, Gimmy with a G. My dad always says there is no J in the Italian alphabet.

Gimmy, along with Sara from episode 2, have been some of the big influences that encouraged me to start the Drift Proof Podcast! Like me, Gimmy is an expert in entry-level jobs and has been searching for a direction to take his life for a long time. He has tried everything from ice cream truck driver to headhunter/talent acquisition specialist. He has been doing stand-up comedy for about 7 years now and it should go without saying that he has a great sense of humor about life.

He currently drives for DoorDash but still finds time to continue his stand-up comedy on the side. In order to get a little bit more direction and structure on his career in entertainment, he will begin a year-long film/production school in the fall of this year. Our chemistry is amazing and he has a lot of insight on both drifting through life and choosing to follow your dreams. We cover topics like comedy, censorship, Gim’s different jobs, screenwriting, our family growing up, Italian-Americans, driftproofing, and like always, I throw some psychology in there along the way.

In this episode, I speak with Kerry Broshears. I met Kerry only a few days before recording this episode and we instantly hit it off. Carrie is in his Master’s program for dietetics and is currently planning out a future in clinical psychology. He is currently trying to plan out a future for himself that he would actually like to be a part of, something that we all can and should do. We don’t agree on everything and for that reason, this episode will be stimulating but respectful. We speak about dietetics, relationships, the gay and trans communities, outcome dependence, narcissism, and the ego. I am so happy to have met someone that is on a similar psychological journey.
