July 12, 2014Show 59: July 11, 2014 with guest Touurs
Oh, my dog. This week, we dispose with the pop and focus on grooves. There’s a lot more four-to-the-floor in this one than you might be used to, but don’t worry - just get on your dancing pants, we’ll wait. Touurs joins me on guest duties, and he’s got a hyperactive little mix for us that flits from song to song like it’s nothin’ - he’s got tunes from Ta-ku, Cosmo’s Midnight, Hermitude, and his and Albert Ryan’s new project Good Nature. Protip: you’ll need those dancing pants. Myself, I come in peace with some new ones from Efdemin, Archie Pelago & Grenier, Plaid, and Fallgrapp, and some old ones from Octo Octa, Fatima Al Qadiri, DataLife, and a whole lot more. June 16, 2014Show 55: November 15, 2013 with guest Topaz Gang
We’re coming back to the airwaves soon, but first… we have a little unfinished business to deal with. This was only supposed to come out, what, seven months ago? On this show, Topaz Gang joined us for an interview to talk about their new album and graced us with a killer guest mix. But the show never aired in full, as my old computer died mysteriously halfway through airing the thing, making this episode one hell of a ghost story that you won’t want to miss.
On this show, we have tunes from Shigeto, Kwes., Lawrence Rothman, Skeleton Lipstick, Bubblegum Crisis, and a lot more. Be the first to hear this one in full:
