What about witches? Though Elijah stood physically alone on Mount Carmel that day, he single-handedly confronted the prophets of Baal with the power of God and saw their total destruction. There is nothing new under the sun. Satan used all of these things as a part of his plan to destroy the church before it could destroy him. Why warfare today? Ignorance of God's Word always leaves the Body of Christ in a dangerous position. As Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge...."
