Ted Kaczynski was a smart kid, and if he didn't skip 6th grade, it is possible that the only people talking about him today would be math nerds. But as fate would have it, he skipped ahead in middle school, was bullied by his peers, experimented on by the CIA as part of project MK Ultra, had a mental breakdown, moved into the woods, and declared war on modern society. It was in the late 70s that he transformed into the domestic terrorist "The Unabomber." He killed three people and injured 23 more. And if he hadn't messed up his figures of speech, he might have gotten away with it. But you can't eat your cake and have it too.

It was probably inevitable that we would cover Titanic on this show. But I never thought we would drink V8 vegetable juice. Needless to say, Eliza's reign of terror is coming to an end. She is now BANNED from getting "surprise drinks," and I am setting a new rule permitting her to only get up once during an episode. On this one she got up 4 or 5 times to get a blanket, socks, ice cubes, and God knows what else.

Anyway, today we talk about the tragedy of the Titanic, notable people on board, and the aftermath. Someday we will cover the Titan submersible, but that incident deserves its own episode.

No drink this week out of solidarity with the victims of Action Park...

In all honesty, we have gotten profoundly lazy on the drink selection aspect of this show. We sincerely apologize and promise to be better about it.

We were supposed to get slurpees and go to the beach, but it was cold and rainy.

Today we're talking about Action Park, an amusement park in New Jersey that claimed the lives of a half-dozen people and caused thousands of injuries. With such a tragic backstory, you would expect that visitors would look back on their time at Action Park with sadness and regret. You'd be wrong. As it turns out, the people of New Jersey are so bored and reckless that they feel a nostalgia for the old Grave Pool. I don't think anyone misses the Cannonball Loop, though. Other than dentists. Those sickos.
