Matt, Zac, and Kelsie are on this week’s episode! We talk about what we’re drinking (sparkling water, IPAs, Porters) but the conversation somehow lands on breast milk. We get an update from Zac to see if he checked out any of the content on Hulu. Shows we discuss on this week’s episode include: Westworld Season 2 and Here and Now on HBO, Aggretsuko and Arrested Development on Netflix, Future Man, The Handmaid’s Tale, Bob’s Burgers and Younger on Hulu. Also, if you have to choose one white male standup comic, Matt tells you which one to watch on Netflix. Movies discussed include: The Hunger Games, Jurassic Park and The Flintstones. We also go into overtime and discuss movie theater audiences and that movie with basketball players in old person makeup.
Matt and Rachael are here for this very special Mother’s Day episode. We talk about what it’s like being new parents and what Rachael was streaming while on maternity leave. We also discuss Rachael’s unique twist on the “Mommy Blog” with her “Boring Oregon Mama” brand. Matt also addresses the lack of a new episode last week, and introduces the new “Streameter” rating system. Also, Rachael mostly watches British shows, so we signed up for a free trial of the new Brit Box streaming service, which features British TV shows from BBC and ITV. Shows we discuss on this week’s episode include: Gardeners’ World, Life of Crime, Tutankhamen, Godless, Alias Grace, Call the Midwife, The Crown, Broadchurch, and Doctor Who. This leads to our recommendations for where newcomers should begin if they want to start watching 50 years worth of Doctor Who episodes, which leads to an agreement that Rachael may leave Matt for David Tennant. Finally, listen all the way to the end for a comparison of the new Lost in Space Netflix show to the 1998 movie starring Joey Tribbiani.

Matt and Zac share their mutual dislike of IPA’s. We discuss everything we know so far about the new Lord of the Rings show from Amazon Prime. Matt passionately expounds on his love of Hilary Duff after discovering her “Dignity” concert on YouTube, which he attended back in 2007. This leads to a discussion of how all Disney stars were required to also be singers, which leads to a discussion about Elton John cover songs. But stay with us, because we also discuss several streaming shows, including The Tick and Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams, both on Amazon Prime. Hilarity for Charity on Netflix. And Matt and Zac snoop through their wives’ Netflix profiles to see what they’re watching, which leads to Zac making controversial statements about Friends.

Phil is back, after taking a few weeks off to move in with his girlfriend Gina, who is also a guest on this week’s show along with her friends, Michelle and Sarah. This week, Matt takes a break from talking about “boy shows” and talks with the panel about “girl shows” including: My 600 Pound Life, The Bachelor, Project Runway, Girls, and the Real Housewives shows. But we also find some common ground, with shows like Black Mirror, Nathan For You, Westworld, High Maintenance, Here and Now, and Easy.
We also discuss how modern technology not only affects how we watch TV, but also how we interact with people. Do we use our phones too much? Is online dating a good thing or a bad thing? Is Matt an Uber driver?
We also discuss our personal experiences with reality TV shows, including House Hunters, The Hollywood Video High Five Challenge, Ramblin’ Rod, and traveling to Nicaragua to get a haircut from The Hill’s star Justin Bobby.

Matt and Zac tell you everything you'd ever want to know about Hulu. What is on Hulu? Is Hulu worth the price, with all the other streaming options out there? What does the word Hulu even mean?
We also talk about some of Hulu’s original programming, including Marvel’s Runaways, The Handmaid’s Tale, and the James Franco series 11.22.63. And we discuss how you can catch up on current shows or watch a vast catalogue of old shows.
Also, because it was just Friday the 13th, Zac watched Friday the 13th for the first time. Also, as a bonus, we talk about David Letterman’s most recent episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with Jay Z on Netflix.

Matt and Zac talk about Marvel’s Legion, Westworld, Santa Clarita Diet, Nailed It, Mega Food, and Wild Wild Country. Matt also scoured VUDU to find hidden gems you can watch for free, and ends up spending way too much time talking about Masters of the Universe and Warriors of Virtue.
