Drinks and Discourse

Kyle is out sick this week, but the rest of the gang is here to talk (and in some cases, argue) about their favorite movies, television shows, and video games of 2015 - along with some of the year's biggest disappointments.

The Christmas holiday is over, and the guys are getting together to talk about THE HATEFUL EIGHT, THE REVENANT, JOY and THE BIG SHORT. Also, thoughts on the latest trailers for DEADPOOL and FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS is finally here, and the guys (and girl) engage in a lengthy, spoiler-filled discussion about what they loved - and didn't love. Grab some bantha milk and strap yourself in!

Lots of trailer talk this week, as the guys (joined by Paige) take a look at THE BROTHERS GRIMSBY, LEGEND OF TARZAN, THE BFG, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2, and X-MEN APOCALYPSE. And what does everyone want to see (or not see) in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS?

Nick the Couch Ginger returns to help the guys discuss the new trailer for BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and the first look at THE NICE GUYS, along with reviews of THE REVENANT from Kyle, Brent and Surly.

Chris and Kyle are still missing this week, so Alyssa joins Brent, Alan and Surly for a special post-Thanksgiving show. On the docket this week is the 3-episode test for JESSICA JONES and MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, and reviews of LEGEND and THE GOOD DINOSAUR.

Kyle rejoins the podcast via telephone to discuss CREED and THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 2, while the rest of the guys (and girl) weigh in on romance, awkward social encounters, and their experiences with FALLOUT 4 and STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT.

Surly, Brent and Alan discuss first impressions of Netflix and Marvel's JESSICA JONES series, as well as their experiences with the first few hours of FALLOUT 4, and the demise of JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS.

With Chris's new work schedule forcing a hiatus from the show, the rest of the gang has decided to recast his role, Marvel-style. This week, the group is talking about the first trailers for WARCRAFT and PREACHER, and reviewing the latest James Bond film, SPECTRE.

Chris is still missing (seriously, where is he), but the rest of the gang is here to give their thoughts on Broadway musical BOOK OF MORMON, while Kyle checks in with a review of ASH vs EVIL DEAD and Surly covers the big news coming out of Paris Games Week.
