Dr. Tatum served in the military as an automated logistics specialist. She

served a tour in Korea, and a tour in Iraq. After those tours, she joined the

Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program, where she served in

lieutenant-level leadership position in an Army Reserve unit. Prior to joining

APS – Lockheed Martin, she worked as a Business Continuity Quality

Reviewer for Citigroup. Prior to that, she worked at Catalyst Corporate and th

University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas). Prior to joining UT Dallas, she

worked as a government contractor on an Air force base in Qatar. Dr. Tatum

loves to travel. She has traveled to South Korea, Germany, Qatar, Kuwait,

Canada, Switzerland, Iraq, Italy, and Dubai. She has gained true to life realisti

expertise to expand as people and innovative perspectives about the globe.

Traveling has compelled her to connect and communicate with unique

Then when I did they said I"d be deaf, blind and mentally challenged.All of it turned out to all be wrong, except I am legally blind. I am completely blind in my left eye and partially blind in my right but see well enough to live a normal life. I was going to college and stopped to take care of my grandmother when she suffered a stroke. Her and my mother were my rocks growing up and I knew it was what I had to do. Three years later my mother suffered a stroke and I helped my aunt care for both of them. From caregiving to overcoming obstacles, I have a variety of topics I speak about and many books in mind for the future. My biggest hurdle right now is getting my name out there. I have all the tools to be both a successful author and an inspirational speaker I just have to get in front of the right people.
