Sam Brown is an American comedian, actor, writer and producer. He’s best known for being a founding member of Whitest Kids U’ Know, a comedy troupe that redefined sketch comedy with their hit TV show of the same name. Whitest Kids ran five seasons (one on Fuse, four on IFC) from 2007–2011, and earned critical acclaim for its high-paced, brash sketches. Since WKUK, Sam has continued to work in the entertainment industry, primarily as a writer and producer for TV and film.
During this episode, Sam discusses the early years of Whitest Kids—ranging from the group’s first live shows to their TV debut and beyond. He delves into the group's legacy, the bittersweet effects of YouTube and adapting the show for streaming.
