Derry City completed the signing if Gerardo Bruna today at the City Hotel. Gerardo a former, Real Madrid Youth player, has also had time at Liverpool, Blackpool, Tranmere Rovers, accrington Stanley and lately in Canada with Ottawa Fury.

 Born in Argentina and raised in Spain, Bruna first represented Spain at a youth international level, before switching to represent his native Argentina.

In what has been a drawn out afair, Declan Devine finally signed Institues leading goalscorer Michael McCrudden today on a pre-contract, Michael will come to Derry City on an 18 month deal after Institutes season is over in the Irish League.

Derry City had a comfortable 3-0 win over neighbours Finn Harps in Friday nights pre-season friendly at the Brandywell. All 3 goals came in the 1st half, Aidy Delap 2', Eoin Toal 23' & Patrick McLean on 42'.

Derry City announced this afternoon that Defender Josh Kerr has joined the club on a 6 month Loan deal

Josh joined Brighton & Hove Albion from Celtic on a two-year contract during the summer of 2017. The 19-year-old left Glasgow after spending five years with the Scottish Premier League champions. During his time with the Hoops, Kerr won the SFA Youth Cup, beating Rangers 3-0 in the final, and also played in the UEFA Youth League, where he came up against Barcelona and Manchester City. Kerr has since made numerous appearances for Simon Rusk's team and helped the Seagulls win promotion to the top flight of under-23 football in 2018.

Derry City today signed David Parkhouse on a 6 month loan deal today from Sheffield United. The former Maiden City players decision was an easy decision after talking to manager Declan Devine and his plans for the club.
