Dropped Culture

Just in time for the holiday, Brock and Dan finish out the second run of the Droppin' Deuces series with Halloween 2!
This is subjectively the second best deuce that's ever been dropped on the show.
The Deuce of Deuces, if you will!
So grab your bag of candy, sit back and ride that sugar high while we fill your ear holes with all that is Halloween 2!

Happy Halloween!

Welcome back to the land of the deuces! Every franchise must have a part two and Ghoulies 2 is one of the worst sequels to ever grace the silver screen. Im not going to take away the hard work and dedication that the people involved put into it but...........If you have seen it then you know what I mean. If a franchise should have died after the second one then this one should have killed the Ghoulies franchise. But it made it stronger. Any movie with Royal Dano in it is something I will watch. Something about his portrayal of a drunk just gets me in the feels. Thanks to everybody that is listening and please reach out, leave a comment, rating, email, whatever floats your boat.

Imagine, if you will, a computer program that contains the personalities of 183 of the world's most prominent serial killers given a physical form and unleashed upon the world.
Badass, right?
Now imagine that being played by Academy Award winner, Russell Crowe.
Even more badass, right?
Now what if the protagonist of this story was played by none other than Academy and Tony Award winning actor, Denzel Washington.
Good Lord, how could you go wrong?!
Well sit back and find out, as the Dropped Culture fellas tackle the film, Virtuosity!

Do you ever wish you could combine the powers of Batman, Deadman, Charles in Charge and Hal from 2001 A Space Odyssey? We thought the same thing! So we had the idea to come up with our own superhero teams. Now it here in all it's glory! Go to www.droppedculture.com to find out more!

Born August 24th, 1990, Darkman is Sam Raimi's answer to the superhero movie. Completely created by Rami, Darkman introduces us to Dr. Peyton Westlake a dr. who is creating a synthetic skin for burn victims. I mean, go figure.....the hero of the movie is working on exactly what is going to help him fight crime..... Anyway it's awesome and it left an indelible impression on Brock and Dan. Dropped culture always brings you the best in movies, music, hell everything!

This week, Dan and Brock are honored to be joined by author and Cannon Films historian, Austin Trunick!
While discussing his book,"The Cannon Film Guide Volume 1: 1980 - 1984", they uncover his favorite interview, where his love for Cannon comes from, and more than a little history of the iconic film company that helped shape the movies that we see today.
Cannon Films was a major part of our movie watching history and to have someone like Austin keeping the passion for those movies alive is amazing!
