  • Dropped Culture Podcast: Droppin' Deuces: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
The first in a series of sequels we love called Dropping Deuces:
the story of four brothers; a prize winning cook, a war vet, a dead hitchhiker, and a masked man-boy torn between his love of a DJ (she's a screamer!) and his love of a chainsaw.
"You have one choice, boy: sex or the saw. Sex is, well, nobody knows. But the saw, the saw is family." - Drayton Sawyer
    Texas Chainsaw Massacre II.
What's not been said about this movie? Well, you might be surprised; we apparently had a lot to share!
Special thanks to NIL8 for making the album, Doug, and letting us use their track on the show! Check them out!

  • Dropped Culture After Dark: The Stooges
Welcome to another Dropped Culture Podcast After Dark episode all about the greatest rock and roll band of all time "The Stooges" Iggy Pop (vocals), Ron Asheton (guitar, bass), Scott Asheton (drums), Dave Alexander (bass), and later additions James Williamson (guitar), Steve Mackay (saxophone). Often cited as the Godfathers of Punk, The Stooges were ahead of their time and are still light years away from any band that has come since. Songs like "I Wanna Be Your Dog", "Down on the Street" and "Search and Destroy" propelled them into legendary status. The world was never the same after August 5th 1969.
