Jesus is the leader who is totally committed to his followers

· He's not like the thief (v1, 8, 10)

· He knows the sheep by name! (v3) (Ezekiel 34:11)

· He’s the door to abundant life (v7, 10)

 · He’s not like the hired hand (v12-13)

 · He is the good shepherd (v11, 14-16)

 · He’s committed to the point of death (v15) 

· He’s committed to bring all his sheep safely home (v16)

 The Sheep follow (v3-4)
