It was great to have Matthew Sleeman (Nick's tutor from theological college) preaching this morning in Ballyhaise and Larah. You can listen again (or for the first time) at the link above. Matthew was speaking from Matthew 13:31-35 and 13:44-50. You can read the verses here.

How great is God? This morning we looked at Psalm 8 at our all age service, you can read Psalm 8 here and Hebrews 2:5-9 here.

What tragic news to wake up to this morning, yet another terror attack. We were looking at Psalm 6 this morning at church, what a helpful Psalm as we learn from David to take our agony to God and discover his steadfast love in the midst of the trials. How should we respond to the tragic attack in Manchester. King David was a man acquainted with grief, he knew the pain of losing children, Psalm 5 gives us a helpful response that involves a God to groan to, a God who will destroy evil, and a God who is a safe haven. It was great to be joined by Bishop Wallace Benn this morning and to learn about his experience on Top Gear! We also really appreciated his helpful preaching which was both challenging and encouraging.  Thanks to all who came for the vision dinner afterwards - it was great to have so many positive comments about our group of churches and some great ideas about what we more we could do. We will do our best to work through them all and hopefully make some positive changes.
