Mishy & Michelle are sick, so we are going into our reserve and pulling out an unaired episode we recorded in July.

We kick it off with a rundown of the candidates that are leaving the race and Stacey Abrams, whose official title should be Gatekeeper of Democracy and Voter Protection. We hit on Trump’s latest crazy talk about repealing the 14th Amendment, and we cover the connection between Colin Kaepernick, the NFL, and Jay-Z. It’s a hard knock life y’all.

We chat about Trump’s desire to purchase Greenland, the Pentagon wanting to get into our brains with Amazon’s help, and Mat’s policies on healthcare and the environment. We made it to Episode 20 y’all and DBAP is celebrating with some margaritas! Mishy gives an interesting description of the tequila, you don’t want to miss it.

We discuss the aftermath of the latest mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, and we have a LOT of tin foil hats on related topics. Mishy gives us the run down on Texodus. Somewhere in there Michelle & Mishy sprinkle in many moments that turn Rae crimson, we wonder about yet another Uncle Joe WTF moment, and while talking about Joaquin Castro dropping the dime on Trump donors, we have a heated discussion about Whataburger vs. In-N-Out. DBAP discusses the 2nd round of Democratic debates, and yes, they are still a gazillion people running. We share our personal highlights plus winners/losers of both nights, and also our dream that round 3 will have less than 10 people on just one night. One can only hope, right?? We explore the Mueller testimony, in all its great boring details, but there are a couple of aha moments. Then we examine the latest ICE detaining of a US citizen- yeah, you read that right. This week we discuss, over some damn good wine, the Orangeman’s tragic rain filled display of authoritarianism (cliff notes- it was a dick measuring contents and Trump came up short). We dive into some very interesting poll numbers after the Dem debates so get out your calculators, and maybe go off on a tangent about automation and the future of jobs? We’re back and drunker than ever for Night 2 of the Dem Debates! Love was in the air from spiritual candidate Marianne but not for Uncle Joe, as he displayed his ugly old white guy ways and quadruple downed on past mistakes. Kamala had us sipping all that tea (well, alcohol in our case), we tried to figure out how Bernie has become so damn problematic (and how did he lose Symone Sanders?!) and weigh in on how Mayor Pete handled a tough question. And as always we close with Mishy’s Asshole of the Week and Rae’s Bae of the Day.
