DSD Hunting

Phillip Vanderpool is host of the Virtue TV. He focuses on hunting Turkeys and Whitetails, but has a lot of experience hunting other species as well. We go over some future plans as well as past stories from Spring and Fall.

Crane hunting is exploding in the US and Canada and we wanted to learn more about the species and hunting tactics. Brian Richter guides in Texas and Oklahoma with a unique focus on Sandhill Cranes.

Jonathan and Dylan White join us in this episode to talk about decoying snow & ross geese in their home state of California. Make no mistake though, this is not just an episode for snow goose hunters. They're both known for going outside of the box and getting geese to decoy up close and personal when others are shooting them at 60 yards. Utilizing unique calling and decoy strategies, along with a focus on hides, allows them to gain an edge that others miss.

It's been a while, but we're back and focused on doing regular, weekly episodes. We dive into new projects, updates, and ideas going on in our world. A new turkey decoy for this spring, updates on snows & a few other nuggets are all discussed.

New episodes available every Friday! Follow DSD on Facebook and Instagram for updates and to join the conversation and ask questions. Thank you for the support!

He has recently created a great speck call in partnership with Hunter Grounds called the Super Speck. We go over some tips for targeting , these often finicky geese, for more consistent finishing action.
