On this episode the great Dan Friesen (Friesen Point Podcast) makes triumphant return to "Just a Tad". On this day we discussed the epic mic drop of a set Stephen Colbert of "Late Night"/"Colbert Report" had at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.

We dissect what it means to be provocative and push the boundaries ourselves in our own debate on the subject. Enjoy the madness that ensued.

On this Episode of "Just a Tad" Sam is yet AGAIN joined by his long time friend & fellow comedian (host of the Friesen Point Podcast), the baritone bastard himself, Dan Friesen.

Today they both dive deep into the controversial opening monologue of the 2016 Golden Globe award ceremony performed by Ricky Gervais. Was it controversial and subversive or was is a vapid contrived ratings grab? Listen to find out.

On this episode of "Just a Tad" we have a special guest, the one and only Dan Friesen. Dan is not only a long time dear personal friend of mine but is also a brilliant comedic mind with a judgmental soul. With that judgmental soul, Dan and I become the divine scales of justice as we deconstruct the subtle complexities of what is and is not theft in the comedy community.

On this episode of Just a Tad we stray away from the world of comedy and into the world of music. To me, Hip Hop has always been the musical equivalent of stand-up comedy and at the top of that world is, M.F Doom. This MC brings humor to the craft through his mastery of rhyme, keen eye of observation and unmatched originality.

On this episode of "Dissecting The Frog" Sam dissects the progenitor of modern stand up comedy, Lenny Bruce. That's right and hour long discussion on the life and impact of the original alternative comedian. We dive into the far reaching influence of this child-like revolutionary that helped created (in one way or another)every comic who came after. He may not be the funniest comic to have ever graced the stage but without him you don't have any of us.

On this episode of "Dissecting The Frog" Sam dissects the complexities of keeping clean in the underbelly of entertainment, which is stand up comedy. Brian Regan, Ellen DeGeneres & Jim Gaffigan all put up boarders around 'blue' humor without compromising their artist image and vision. We unravel the true surgical creativity it takes to run up to the cliff of toilet humor to only jump off and fly over all the filth.
