  • ShockCast Ep. 161 - "Mr. Ogg"
The New York Videogame Critics Circle Awards were held this week, and DualShockers was in attendance, along with our very own Jorge Jimenez, who is a member of the circle and was a presenter at the awards. That being said, we spoke about the awards and our reactions to them. We also got into some discussion regarding Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and the franchise as a whole, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and some non-video game topics, along with the recent news.
And yes, there's a story about Grand Theft Auto V's Steven Ogg in this episode.
This week David Rodriguez was joined by Jorge Jimenez (Staff Writer), Ryan Meitzler (Staff Writer), and Tony Polanco (Staff Writer). Many thanks to @elblanconino for our custom intro and outro.

  • ShockCast Ep. 160 - "Size Doesn't Matter"
Size? Length? In the grand scheme of things, do these attributes really matter? We decided to touch upon this with our discussion regarding the recent reports surrounding Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the upcoming prequel to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Our other major subjects included the ongoing plight of Nintendo and what they are looking to do for themselves in the future, and the positive and negative aspects of Kickstarter-backed gaming projects, and the pros and cons of backing such projects yourself. As always, there was a full news rundown. Comment below, share with your friends, and enjoy the show!
