  • 039- Erin Trieb Combat Photographer & Journalist: A Different Side to War; An Inside Look At The Aftermath for Both Sides.
Erin Trieb, photojournalist/ war photographer, capture’s the essence of war. But not just war. The people behind it & how they are affected by the aftermath. She puts herself on the front lines in an attempt to understand the people aspect first hand. She's been in and covered several different war zones. Most notably to me, because I was there, she was embedded as a Combat photographer with the 1-32 INF during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2009. There she discovered her story. Documenting the aftermath war has on people's lives. She founded The Homecoming Project in 2011. The Homecoming Project collective includes work by 30 other photojournalists along with art, writing and works created by military and veteran contributors. It is exhibited at events geared toward illuminating key issues affecting today's veterans.
She was recently in the Ukraine documenting the Russian Invasion. She was featured on a CBS news segment live from the Ukraine and recently had an article featured in Glamour magazine (Link Below).

  • 038- Cody Marshall Prepares to Cross the Country for Charity

This month, Cody is taking part in Great Cycle Challenge and pedaling throughout September to kick cancer's butt!

Why? Because cancer is the largest killer of kids in the U.S. – on average, 38 kids die of cancer every week.

This is horrible. Kids should be living live, not fighting for it!

Cancer has taken too many lives and robbed too many kids of their childhood...

And frankly, cancer needs to be dealt with once and for all.

So I'm pedaling 500 miles this month to give cancer a good old-fashioned butt-kicking to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

My goal is to raise $2,600 through my challenge...

    But I need your support.

Can you sponsor me to help me kick cancer's butt?

Simply click the link below to view my profile page and make a donation:

    https://greatcyclechallenge.com/Riders/CodyMarshall

All funds raised will support Children's Cancer Research Fund to continue their work in developing innovative treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

When we're done, cancer will have nightmares... about us.

And when you donate, you can also leave a message on my page about how badly you also want to kick cancer's butt.

Thanks so much for your support.

  • 037- Mike Brewer Takes a Break From Speed Flying
I sit down with Mike Brewer and talk about his Speed Flying accident & recovery process. Take a look at his Gofundme below if you are interested in making a contribution. Check him out on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike___brewer/
    Donate Here: gofund.me/1c5e1da4
    Gofundme Info:
"Lane P. here. The time has come! We must rally the troops, come together, and help out one of the kindest, most genuine souls around.
For those who don't know, Mike was involved in a severe speedflying accident in April that required him to be hospitalized for over a month. He broke most of the bones in his face, fractured his skull, incurred a TBI, broke his wrist, fractured his pelvis, shattered his kneecap, and broke his tibia. Mike was airlifted off the mountain and taken to the nearest hospital, where he received excellent emergency care. Now, he is back in the USA and recovering from his injuries. With time, he is expected to make a full recovery.
Mike was insured, but insurance will not cover everything: lost wages, living costs, travel back to the U.S., all the necessary rehab, and all the other costs associated with recovering from such severe injuries.
If you know Mike, you know he is one of the most generous people. He has always been there for others; now it's time for us to be there for him.
Please consider donating and sharing this page to relieve some of the financial stress from this already stressful situation. If you cannot donate now, please share this page. Let's help Mike get back to 100% so that he can continue making the world a better place.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
    With love,
    Lane Paquin"
