Detta proves to be much more difficult to deal with than her nicer half, as Roland pushes her (and himself) to the very edge.
This week, Kole Ross is joined by Autumn Greer, Chase Greenlee, and Paddy Smith to take a long look at how Roland and Eddie cope with their second drawn friend. Whenever she falls asleep, there's no telling which one will wake up... The amiable but frightened Odetta Holmes, or the poisonous and violent Detta Walker. The trek up the beach is complicated by her physical disability and complete lack of cooperation, as Roland gets sicker, they all get hungrier, and the lobstrosities close in.

Literally the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "draw me a psionic monster."
The members of R.E.M. were anxious about creating a followup to Murmur, so instead they created a masterpiece. Reckoning is all over the map when it comes to style and production, but it provides evidence of how prolific and creative the band was from 1980 to 1984. It opens with the sublime "Harborcoat", wanders through "Don't Go Back to Rockville", and closes on a straight up protest song in "Little America". It's hard to say if this is the best possible place to start with R.E.M., but it's absolutely not the worst.
The next episode will be about Fables of the Reconstruction.
Kris and Kole spend the 200th episode talking about Mansfield geography, stain removal, and cries for help.
