Gary Butterfield and Kole Ross flash through Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 2.

We're home again. Watch Out for Fireballs! began with an episode about Mega Man X, and now it's time to talk about Capcom's platforming superstar at the height of his powers. After a shaky debut in Mega Man 1, Mega Man 2 came out of the gate as one of the best games of all time, with memorable stages, music, and bosses. Mega Man 3 iterated on that formula and maybe reached a little too far, but it's still some top tier NES stuff.

Just when you thought you were safe from Golems, here they come again.

It's time to meet the Man in Black. But how many of his answers are lies?

This week, Kole Ross is joined by Evan Jones Thorne, Jeremy Greer, and Murph Murphy to talk about the final chapter of The Gunslinger, where Roland finally gets what he bargained Jake's life for. In a Golgotha that faces the sea, over a night that lasts for years, we get a taste of the tower, and a sense for what a son-of-a-bitch Walter is.

Thank you so much for listening to this season of the show. After a small interlude to talk about The Eyes of the Dragon, we will return with discussion about The Drawing of the Three.

Special Guests: Evan Jones Thorne, Jeremy Greer, and Murph Murphy.
