It's just about Halloween, so I wanted to share something special with you. I did a reading of "The Repairer of Reputations" by Robert W. Chambers, which is the first story from his collection called The King in Yellow.

It's a tale of a dystopian version of 1920, where America is at peace... but for a young man and his old mentor, both of whom are students of The King in Yellow, a play known for driving people mad. Venture with us into the wasteland of Carcosa, if you dare.

This reading is available for backers at any level. If you want to listen to it in your personalized RSS feed (where Exquisite Suffering and Adaptation Decay might also be found, if you back at those levels), follow the instructions here.

Thanks so much for your support, and I hope you have a wonderful Halloween weekend.

Everything you ever wanted to know about a legit and real scary thing. Both you, and it, will scream forever.

Gary Butterfield and Kole Ross burst with joy over Resident Evil 4.

We held off on playing this game for too long. There's so much going on here. So much great design, so many memorable moments, that our discussion of Resident Evil 4 is our longest single episode to date. Leon Kennedy is back, this time on a mission to rescue the President's daughter Ashley from a mysterious cult in rural Spain. His mission marks a turning point for the Resident Evil series, for Survival Horror, and for all action games that followed it.

The calculations are finally complete. It's time for our reward...

It's just frogs, folks.

It's just fish.

Kris and Kole talk about improv, Cheers, and temporary recreational pools.

ALSO: Wouldn’t want to miss a week. Kris’ whale song phone booth. No, but. No opinion on Ted Dansen. Budtender. A contemptible man. The Paddling Pool Slasher. No really, I’m a doctor. Pubes for Trump.

We recorded this one in case of emergency, since our great godfather died on Columbus Day.
