 (shotgun cocking noise)

This is just a short blog post to pass the torch to my new show, premiering next Monday, Pilot Season. It'll have it's own page and all that but I wanted to do an audio pass off on the off chance someone listens to this and doesn't listen to the other shows or check the facebook or something.

Kole, Ben, and Dennis talk about The Last of Us, in detail.

When you're feeling cool ranch, you need a smile that's just a phone call away...

Gary Butterfield and Kole Ross take their discussion of the first part of Final Fantasy VII to the limit.

This is the beginning of a long saga. Not just for one of the most popular games ever, but for our discussion of it. Final Fantasy VII is kind of controversial, which is probably why we love it so goddamned much. We dedicate these three hours to talking about the first portion of the game in depth.

This begins our first three-part episode. This week’s show talks about everything up through Corel Prison. Episodes will come out weekly thereafter, culminating in an Extrasode to tie everything up.

This is the singularity that happens when 1000 bad ideas try and cram their way into a premise that isn't promising. This is our first mascot platformer... any why not live life to the hilt?

The death of the artist class.

Well, this is the end. Yes, I'm OK, yes I still deal with a lot of this, yes I'm proud of DIV, yes something is coming in it's place, no I don't know how to live and be creative, no I don't know how to adjust my attitude.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the show what it was/lended their talents. Briefly: Jon Wolff, Derek Hayes, Ben Crickenburger, Nick Glauber, Kole Ross, Brayton Cameron, Steven Wallet, Zak Rouse, Mike Kitchell, Ryan Green and Lou Fernando.

Welcome to Boletaria. There's some stuff you should know.

Fear not, because Gary and Kole are not dead. Even though we've exhaustively covered Dark Souls, there are still more Souls left to conquer. This begins season two of our show, in which we discuss Demon's Souls in depth. Fans of the show will find no surprises here... we're still talking about every stage in Demon's Souls in a way that brings new info to Demon's Souls veterans and newcomers alike.

This introduction episode covers the history of the game world, along with a discussion of the Tutorial section and the Nexus. The next episode will cover 1-1 and 1-2.

IT'S A METAPHOR

Well, here is the big crazy ending to Dead Idea Valhalla. I bring as much back as I can.

Thanks a lot to Kole for his help with narration and thanks to everyone who listened the first time and who listened in reruns!

Oh, and I'm OK!
