Otto was by all accounts an accomplished and winning thoroughbred jockey, but he always felt there was something more. We discuss his beginnings, racing at legendary and prestigious tracks such as Oaklawn Park, Churchill Downs, and Keeneland. We talk about his triumphs and injuries, how even being a winning jockey left him with a feeling of unfulfilment. That is, until he went all in on faith, and a subsequent conversation with a pastor led to a prophetic statement that Otto would indeed ride another winner in his career. The vision included being draped with a rose blanket which could only come from a Kentucky Derby win. However, the mount he would get was more than he bargained for as he was led straight to the set of Disney's "Secretariat" as the role of Ronnie Turcotte who rode Secretariat straight into the winner's circle, history books, and hearts of every thoroughbred racing fan on the planet.
