  • Episode 74: Dave's Dowsing Rods
[su_spacer]After two full weeks, we return with chocolate Jeebus eggs! And no, we won't share! Will the Han Solo movie feature Chewy's Backstory? Dani Mo loves the Batfleck, but will the Suicide Squad's Joker be the old Robin? Domino's delivery robots in the outback don't need lame-ass e-fuel, but they do need gratuities for robo-rent. Dead 7 from SyFy features dreamy old boy-band stars fighting zombies in a little town ala the Magnificent Seven (which is probably just as terrible as it sounds). Who cares about Lady Liadrin's Hearthstone hero? Nobody, that's who. So why not talk about Fallout's Automatron DLC and their open-beta Survival Update?! Turok is revived on the Xbox 1. The Tick finds a new loveably-heroic chin in Peter Serafinowicz. Microsoft kills Fable and takes Lionhead Studios with it! Then they poison the internet even more with their assumingly innocent @TayandYou artificial intelligence. Why does Hitler hate golf? Because he always finishes in the bunker. In science news, the National Environment Research Council asks the internet to name their new polar research vessel, and the internet waffles between a living memory and comedy, and we circle back to Australia for oceanic buoys that reclaim kinetic wave energy and converts it to electricity and/or desalination of water for domestic use! • Episode 98: Are We Boring?! We're Certainly Insecure!
This week Brandon recaps his life-altering events in Final Fantasy XV and how both of our lives are seemingly devoid of any true excitement! Is life just a construct of our imaginations? Are we living our dreams or surviving our nightmares?! Did you know that ants were farming long before humans, dinosaurs had feathers, and artificial intelligence can now write its own terrifying Christmas carols?! It's pretty neat! Pull out your Robo Rosewater Magic decks and play by the hearth! Did you know there's another Spiderman movie coming out? And they're starting at the beginning again? It's going to be awesome, guys! Seriously though, Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Michael freaking Keaton as the Vulture? It's probably going be epic, Stick around in the outtakes to hear the trailer, or watch it below on our website! I wonder why Keaton has this sudden fascination with playing avian characters? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrzXIaTt99U Oh, don't forget! Friend of the show and resident Viscount (pronounced "v'eye-count") Terry W. Ervin II's new book Thunder Wells is out in trade paperback and ebook! • Episode 97: Sega Bringing Game Properties to the Theatre?

    Download Episode

What Sega titles do you think would make for a good movie or tv show? Have production companies still not learned from their previous movie adaptation failures? Comment below!

While we're talking about nostalgia pieces, Ducktales (woo-oo) will be returning to Disney XD in 2017. Will it be more teen-oriented than the first cartoon?

One of the new Rogue One tv spots potentially features the Star Wars Rebels' ship The Ghost, and it's great to finally see the other off-shoot properties being acknowledged in the movies!

Baby Groot is absofreakinglutely adorable, and the new Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 might shape up to be better than the first one!

Click here to order the Kindle edition now!

Terry W. Ervin II will have some guest articles going up on our site Dec. 12 and beyond to tie in with the release of his new novel, Thunder Wells!

My other trebuchet is a trebuchet!

  • Episode 96: TAKE ONE UNCOMFORTABILITY DAMAGE!
This week we talk about more tabletop RPG's with our focus turning to Paizo's new space fantasy system, Starfinder! Brandon recounts the surface similarities between Fable and Witcher 3, Rem regails us with tales from the Trek (Star Trek), we both ponder on the dark recesses of our resident viscount Terry W. Ervin's mind and whether or not he's played us for fools this whole time (probably not, he's like, the best guy ever). Then it's onward to RPG land where we discuss Starfinder, Dungeons and Dragons, worldbuilding, creativity, and uncomfortability! Oh, and then there's this weird nostalgic Nintendo console whose parent company we REALLY LAY INTO! Then we answer @mumphry999's tweet: https://twitter.com/mumphry999/status/799023554289397760 Click all those sharing things forever!
