This episode we do something that WE HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE and that my friends is brought in the SAME DAMN SONG FROM THE SAME DAMN ARTIST and an artist who's never made it to the pod YET!

Before we get into that, we explore the thoughts and feels on brand new Wolf Alice and the confusing new project SPXRT and then, we both, in the same ep, bring in the one, the only, the unbelievable CMAT with her genre bending Jamie Oliver Petrol Station.

It's been too darn long away from Dug By Us, but we're back and promise some more consistancy with our programing for the rest of the year. Cancer is in Jupiter according to our astrologist Chris, which means we are back on track (or does it, we only know enough for surface chat).

Anyway, years later, we recap on 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, including Chris's pick from last episode Remember Monday with their The Last Dinner Party inspired track 'What The Hell Just Happened?' - note Chris isn't the most Eurovision Talented member of the Holland fam. Australia's Go-Jo gets a little shout out from friend of the show (we wish) Justin Hawkins on his show Rides Again, watch it here (LOL Benson BOOB).

We break down the massive tune Cassie's brought in last ep from the multitalented Briggs and his new project Big Noter.

And moving to the current times, Chris wants to make you DANCE with Young Franco's new BOP Music Sounds Better With Me (yeah he did), get it here

And Cassie is letting off some steam, with the feminist rage, social media diss comments on your sleeve track from Garbage, Chinese Fire Horse (note, this song contains some choice language) listen to it here

Welcome to this very special bonus episode of Dug By Us, celebrating 5 years since we celebrated and discovered the song, that today at time of publish is #2 on the ARIA Official singles chart, that has gone on to become stuff of legends, covered by the greats - Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, Rick Astley, Corey Taylor from Slipknot, Kacey Musgraves, Sabrina Carpenter, Orville Peck and the list is growing by THE DAY!

The song is Pink Pony Club, the artist is now a house hold name Chappell Roan, yet 5 years ago in the deep deep days of lockdowns, she was an unknown, soon to be dropped by her record label when Pink Pony Club wasn't a hit! Well she showed them and this little music pod is proud to have been there for the ride.

Once again, Chris Holland claims his position as THE Song Nerd in calling this massive shot.

Thank you for dipping in for this bonus pod. Let us know if there's anything else you'd like us to explore, chuck us a message on instagram at instagram.com/dugbyus
