In the final hour of today's show, the guys hit the Falcons report, as we chat with ESPN's Marc Raimondi on the Falcons 53 man roster announcement. Grant McAuley joins in Around the Yard.

Carl and Mike close out the show with final thoughts on the Falcons final 53-man roster and the official word of Kaleb McGary being placed on the injured reserves and reportedly set to miss the entire season. They also discuss why they have some reservation in how much Jalon Walker will be used to start the season, with Carl noting he believes the edge rusher will not be an every down guy.

Carl and Mike are joined by Grant McAuley as they discuss Spencer Strider's outing on Monday and how the Braves should address Ozzie Albies this offseason.

Carl and Mike get back to some more brief NFL talk as they react to the Browns announcing Dillon Gabriel as their back up quarterback which leads them to a conversation on why the Falcons have the best backup QB situation in the league and with the release of Easton Stick, there is no need for the Falcons to trade the veteran QB at all this season.

Carl and Mike come back and briefly discuss the Braves/MLB teams releasing their 2026 schedule in a lackluster way and on the same day as the NFL announcing player cuts and final 53-man roster. They then briefly discuss the Falcons and reports of Kaleb McGary being placed on IR. They then wrap the segment revisiting their conversation with Mike Griffith, who shared why he believes Kirby Smart must be held accountable for the struggles of Georgia's offense, to which both the guys are in agreement.

Carl and Mike are joined by Coach Jerry Mack of Kennesaw State as they preview the Owls' season which they open up at Wake Forest on Friday.

Carl and Mike come back and get into some of the NFL headlines and players who have been released by their respective teams and the Saints naming Spencer Rattler their starter for their season opener, which leads them to a discussion on if New Orleans would potentially have a bad enough season that would put them in the mix to draft Arch Manning next season should the Texas quarterback decide to enter the NFL Draft after this season.

Carl and Mike come back with some more Falcons talk and react to another cut as it was reported C.J. Henderson was released by the team as they continue with roster cuts. As they discuss, they agree it was going to be an uphill battle for Henderson as he was behind the eight ball as he was brought into camp late. They then get into a conversation and share thoughts on which team out of Georgia Tech, Georgia and the Falcons have the most to prove this season, with Mike believing the Yellow Jackets have to 'make the big leap', while Carl believes Falcons seven year playoff drought makes them the team with the most to prove.
