Carl and Mike get into some of the latest sports headlines as they react to the Seahawks win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl in which they both agree there was no signature moment in the game, they both believe was "a sleeper".

Carl and Mike open up the show with reaction to the news of James Pearce Jr. being arrested over the weekend and agree to being surprised by the news. As they discuss, they share thoughts on not expecting too much from the Falcons any further than the statement they released over the weekend.

2 O'clock Hour

:00 - Carl and Mike open up with some Hawks talk as they react to the debut of Jock Landale following being traded to the Hawks and the team picking up a win they both described as exciting to watch as Landale had a career night. They then get into some Falcons talk as they react to Kirk Cousins describing how healthy he feels since he suffered his season ending injury during his time in Minnesota. They also share thoughts on Michael Penix Jr. addressing with Kay Adams his social media post and where he is in his rehab.

:20 – Carl and Mike get into some NFL talk as they react to Matthew Stafford winning the MVP and agree there was no doubt the former Georgia Bulldogs player was beyond worthy of winning the award. They also share some thoughts on why the Defensive Rookie of the Year, Carson Schwesinger, is a great example of why the Falcons can still find "the guy they need" with their second round pick but it is up to Ian Cunningham and his scouting staff to go out and do their job.

:40 – Carl and Mike get into some NFL talk as they react to Emmett Smith saying the Browns need to name Shedeur Sanders their starter, Luke Kuechly getting into the HOF ahead of the likes of Eli Manning and Bill Belichick, Jim Schwartz stepping resigning as the Browns DC.

:00 – Carl and Mike get into more football talk as they react to Drew Brees being inducted into the HOF and agree that despite their personal dislike of the Saints, Brees is deserving of his induction.

:20 – Carl and Mike are joined by Jerry Brewer as they discuss and preview the Super Bowl and why the Patriots defense is capable of helping them win the big game.

:40 – Carl and Mike react to the Falcons hiring of Matt Jones as their assistant offensive line coach and then get into their picks for the Super Bowl.

4 O'clock Hour

:00 – Carl and Mike share thoughts on their conversation with Jerry Brewer in which they discussed the Falcons getting Kevin Stefanski as their head coach and why the Seahawks are likely to win the Super Bowl. They then get into some Hawks talk and share more of their thoughts on their win over the Jazz and the career night of newly acquired Jock Landale had.

:20 – Carl and Mike get into Guy Talk as they discuss some of the commercials that going to play during the Super Bowl, Bad Bunny performing the halftime show and Lidsay Vonn back on the slopes just days after rupturing her ACL.

They then get into comments from Kirk Cousins in regards to wanting to continue to play and his health. As they discuss they agree that while the Falcons and Cousins would have to find a happy medium, he would be the best option for the Falcons next season if Michael Penix Jr. is not able to go.

As their conversation continues, they discuss why they believe a lot of people around the league are on the same page in believing the Falcons made the right choice and have the potential to "do some really special things" if they have the right plan in place and Stefanski's proven ability to do more with less.
