Carl and Mike get into some brief football talk as they share some thoughts on the importance of the new head coaches around the NFL, including Kevin Stefanski, building a relationship with their respective quarterbacks if they hope to have any success this upcoming season and beyond.

Carl and Mike are joined by John Talty as they discuss the latest college sports headlines including the new CFP format in which Notre Dame is guaranteed a spot as long as they finish in the Top 12.

Carl and Mike get back into some football talk as they react to Bill Polian's son, Brian speaking out in defense of his father, after the former Colts GM fell under scrutiny for his perceived role in Bill Belichick being left off the Hall of Fame ballot. As they discuss, they agree that regardless of whether or not Polian voted for Belichick or not, the former Patriots head coach being left off the ballot comes off as being 'personal'.

Carl and Mike get back to Falcons talk as they react to comments from Kevin Stefanski in which he said the team will hire their general manager first before they address the quarterback situation in regards to whether Michael Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins are both in the QB room when the season begins.

Carl and Mike get into Hawks talk as they react to their win over the Celtics for their fourth straight win and as they discuss, they share thoughts on Onyeka Okongwu getting his teeth knocked out after catching an elbow from Jaylen Brown, who received a technical foul.

Carl and Mike open up the show with some Falcons talk as they share thoughts on why they it is ok to say that currently they do not know what Michael Penix Jr. is as he yet to play under center for an entire season and there still needs to be time before determining whether or not Penix Jr. will work out for the Falcons.

:00 - Carl and Mike open up with Falcons talk as they react to reports of Michael Penix Jr. saying he believes he may be back by April and share their thoughts on why they believe "it is good news" to hear this from Penix Jr. and agree should the Falcons QB truly be ready trending towards being ready for the start of the season, it instantly makes Kevin Stefanski and Tommy Rees' job a lot easier as they will not have to be concerned about addressing the role ahead of the season.

:20 – Carl and Mike get into the latest sports headlines as they discuss the fallout of Bill Belichick not being a first ballot Hall of Famer and react to Jimmy Johnson saying that "Spygate" was something "everybody" was attempting to do and Belichick should not have been left off the ballot for anything related to "Spygate".

:40 – Carl and Mike get back into their Bill Belichick conversation and take calls from listeners to allow them to weigh in on the former Patriots head coach not being selected for the Hall of Fame.

3 O’clock Hour

:00 – Carl and Mike get into more NFL headlines and share more thoughts on Bill Belichick being snubbed on the HOF ballot, the Browns hiring Todd Monken as their new head coach, which has led to DC Jim Swartz to reportedly tell people close to him he plans to leave, and Mike McCarthy saying he would not have a problem with Aaron Rogers returning to Steelers next season.

:20 – Carl and Mike come back and briefly discuss the latest news in the gold world as Patrick Reed announced he too would be returning to the PGA Tour and leaving LIV Golf. They then get into Falcons talk and share more thoughts on what they heard from Kevin Stefanski yesterday and reports Zach Klein saying he believes he will be good to go by April. As they discuss, the agree in the report on Penix being good to hear however the QB truly is listening to his doctors and does not try to rush his return.

:40 – Carl and Mike briefly get back to Falcons talk as they react to Zach Klein recanting his reporting on Michael Penix Jr. and that the Falcons signal caller actually said he believes he will be ready by Week 1.

4 O'clock Hour

:00 – Carl and Mike get into some college football talk as they react to Georgia's Daylen Everett saying he would enjoy learning from the Falcons DB's if he were drafted by the team. They also share their thoughts on there not being as many Georgia players at the Senior Bowl, which they agree the level of talent on the Bulldogs' team was not that of previous seasons in which several Georgia players were featured in the annual event.

:20 – Carl and Mike get into some Hawks talk as they share thoughts on whether ot not the team should be interested in trading for Giannis Anteokounmpo and agree the Hawks does not need to consider due to the likeliness of having to give up Jalen Johnson and the first round picks in return.
