Carl and Mike get back to Falcons talk as they continue to share more thoughts on Arthur Blank's press conference in which he addressed the firing of Raheem Morris being a full season evaluation and consulting firm saying there was lack of countability and poor communication within the organization. They also discuss Blank stating he believes in Michael Penix Jr. still being their franchise QB.

Carl and Mike get into Guy Talk as they discuss whether or not Trae Young should be considered a super star in which they agree he provided great moments, however has set to elevate to super star status.

Carl and Mike get into some brief Hawks talk as they share more thoughts on the trade of Trae Young and agree in there being disappointed in the fact the team was not able to achieve success with the All-Star guard. They then share more thoughts on Arthur Blank's press conference and discuss the team owner's comments in regards to the team being viewed as not having real direction.

They then get into some NFL headlines as they react to the Dolphins firing Mike McDaniel and note how Arthur Blank mentioned the new head coach does not have the responsibility of retaining any of the current coaching staff, in particular Jeff Ulbrich, who did a good job this season with the defense.

Carl and Mike are joined by Zach Klein as they discuss the possibility of Matt Ryan becoming the Falcons president of football and why the Hawks trading Trae Young was a good move.

As they discuss, Carl notes he believes Blank's statement in regards to being surprised by the consulting firm's finding of a lack of clarity and vision for the team, which Carl believes has led to the team creating the president of football role.

They then get back to Falcons talk and discuss why they believe the Falcons are in a critical situation in regards to who they hire for the head coach due to the fact they will have to figure out the QB situations to start 2026 assuming Michael Penix Jr. is not ready to start Week 1.
