Carl and Mike continue with Falcons talk and react to Arthur Blank's letter to fans in which he states new leadership was needed in the head coach and general manager positions to which both the guys agree this was the type of statement fans needed to hear from the owner. Carl and Mike open up the show with their reactions to the Falcons firing Raheem Morris and Terry Fontenot and Rich McKay no longer being the president of football operations, with Greg Beadles being elevated to president and CEO of the Atlanta Falcons. As they discuss they share their thoughts on the direction the team may go in regards to replacing Morris and Fontenot as well as why Matt Ryan may not be the person the Falcons turn to be the president of football.

Carl and Mike open up the show with some brief conversation on how they enjoyed their NYE in which Carl got a scary call from he and his wife's daughter as she informed them she and friends were in a car accident and fortunately they were ok. They then get into some football talk as they react to Georgia's loss to Ole Miss in which they agreed this was the first time in recent years in which they believe Kirby Smart and his coaching staff were too conservative with some of their play calling in particular in the first half.

Carl and Mike get back into some football talk as Carl notes he believes Georgia will be back in the mix next season and share thoughts on Dan Lanning's comments in regards to how he believes the college football schedule must be adjusted to and the NFL needing to give up Saturdays for the sake of college football. Carl and Mike are joined by Bobby Hebert as they preview the Falcons, Saints season finale on Sunday and why he believes Tyler Shough is the best quarterback in the NFC South the Saints are more concerned with Falcons being led by Kirk Cousins. Carl and Mike share thoughts why the service industry is struggling to keep good help on staff and why Trae Young should still be traded by Hawks regardless of how much ownership loves him if they ultimately come to the conclusion they cannot win with him.
