Carl and Mike get into some brief Braves talk and share thoughts on how well the offense played on Wednesday in their win over the Angels, however they agree that they have shown this type of promise throughout the season thus far, yet have not been consistent enough to even be in playoff contention.

Carl and Mike come back and get into some of the latest NFL headlines and share some thoughts on comments by Greg Cosell in which he states when he watches film on the Falcons tight end, he looks uninspired. As they weigh in on Cosell's statement, they agree that those are the types of comments you never want to hear about players on your team and Carl noting that if someone who has no ties to a team sees this from Pitts, opposing coaches are likely seeing the same thing and therefore do not view Pitts as a threat.

Carl and Mike briefly back into some Braves and Ronald Acuna Jr. talk and share thoughts on how the Braves' All-Star is the best thing the franchise has going for them even just getting back from injury in addition to his contract being so team friendly, therefore they see no reason why the Braves should think to trade the outfielder. They then get into some Hawks talk and discuss the possibility of Trae Young being willing to resign with the team for a lesser amount. As they discuss, they weigh some of the approaches the Hawks can take towards Young including the possibility of trading him.

Carl and Mike come back and get back into some Braves talk as they react to comments by Carlos Pena as he said he believes the team should consider blowing up their roster as well as trading Ronald Acuna Jr. to which they both agree that a blow up of the team should possibly be considered should the Braves continue to struggle and find themselves well out of playoff contention shortly after the All-Star break, however moving on from Ronald Acuna Jr. would be a hard no.

And while they agree it was good to see them get the win, they share thoughts on whether the Braves can win enough throughout the rest of the season and even if they can, with their starting pitching taking a hit with losses of Spencer Schwellenbach and Chris Sale, who both hit the IL.
