Dukes & Bell

Carl sits down with Atlanta Falcons assistant general manager Kyle Smith as they discuss the team's mindset heading into this past draft and how they knew Michael Penix Jr. was their guy.

Carl and Abe get back into some Braves talk as they share more thoughts on the return of Roanld Acuna Jr. to the Braves lineup tonight and what expectations should be of the Braves' All-Star. As they discuss, they weigh in on if Acuna Jr. will be able to return to his All-Star form after suffering a second ACL injury which Carl believes at the plate Acuna Jr. will be ok, however in the field he will have to trust himself in making sudden cuts and moves.

Carl and Abe get back into Falcons talk with Bryant McFadden as he explains he learned just how much Michael Penix Jr. loves football, which he believes the Falcons will be in a good place because of that and why the second year QB needs to play in the preseason.

Carl and Abe joined by Bryant McFadden live in studio as they discuss his DB showcase community event for high school student athletes in which they will host a symposium to discuss the in and outs in NIL and how to navigate the landscape. They get into some Falcons talk as he shares thoughts on why Kyle Pitts' production has been down after such a promising rookie season.

Carl and Abe open up the show with their reactions to the news of Ronald Acuna Jr. returning to the Braves lineup today and share their thoughts on what the All-Star's return means for the team and what their expectations are. As they discuss Abe notes he believes there may be some mistakes in the field and strikeouts at the play however, the hype and energy will overshadow those things. They both also agree the return of Acuna Jr. may also have an impact on the lineup in terms of other players getting themselves on track.
