Dukes & Bell

Dukes and Bell are joined by Audacy NFL Insider Ross Tucker as they preview Thursday's NFL Draft and he shares thoughts on how the Falcons should approach the draft, which he notes he likes the thought of them trading back and getting more picks to double dip on defensive players.

Dukes and Bell come back and get into some Hawks talk and share thoughts on whether or not the team can move forward and win with the All-Star guard, which they both agree is the the exact question the Hawks will have to ask themselves as they move on with a new general manager and president of basketball operations. As they discuss they share thoughts on whether or not the Hawks adequately provided Young with the talent needed in order for the team to succeed and Mike noting he believes the team has failed to do so and would understand if Young actually wanted to be moved by the Hawks.

Dukes and Bell continue with some more thoughts on Kirk Cousins reporting to Falcons' voluntary workouts and discuss what they believe may have led to the veteran QB deciding to report amid all of the controversy surrounding the potential of the Falcons trading him, which he made clear he wanted earlier this season. They then get into their daily downloads and react to the Braves win over the Cardinals and credit Spencer Schwellenbach being able to bounce back from his last outing against the Blue Jays and their offense starting to get hits in the right moments with runners in scoring position.

Dukes and Bell open up the show with reports of Kirk Cousins has reported to Falcons voluntary workouts and share thoughts on why they believe the veteran QB may have opted to make his way to Flowery Branch, which Mike notes bonus incentives may have been the reason for Cousins to show up. The guys then shift their conversation to the Braves as they react to their 7-6 win over the Cardinals and share concerns over the performance Raisel Iglesias as he has given up four homeruns this season, including one last night, and only allowed four all of last season.

As they weigh in, both Carl and Mike agree Fields did a solid job with the trade for Dyson Daniels and selection of Zaccharie Risacher, however, question whether or not the deal in which the Hawks traded for Dejounte Murray, which Fields was on board for, may have been a reason which played a role in the Hawks' decision to move on from Fields.
