Mike and Abe are joined by Connor Riley as they discuss the latest out of SEC Media Days, including Kirby Smart's backing of Greg Sankey's comments in regards to the SEC willing to consider breaking away from NCAA and Kirby Smart's backing of Mike Bobo.

Mike and Abe get into some Falcons talk as they share thoughts on the teams first few games as they agree it will be a pretty tough start to the season and if the Falcons can get off to a 3-2 start, they should feel pretty good about themselves. They then get back to Georgia/SEC talk as they share more thoughts Kirby Smart essentially back Greg Sankey's comments about the conference having talks about breaking off from NCAA if there are no uniformity of rules.

Mike and Abe share thoughts on the recent layoffs by ESPN which included the likes of Ryan Clark, Karl Ravech and Tom Pelissero and agree that the network's investment into other ventures and personalities has likely been the cause to the recent moves. They then get into some NFL talk as they react to several teams having rookies report today and the Seahawks Hard Knocks getting a premier date.

Mike and Abe get into some of the latest sports headlines including the Braves getting the win over Padres with Bryce Elder getting the start and having a good outing and Victor Mederos coming in and providing a quality performance in relief and proves Alex Anthopoulos continues to show he is capable of finding 'the diamonds in the rough'.

They then get into some Georgia/SEC talk as they share thoughts on Kirby Smart essentially backing Greg Sankey's comments in regards to the SEC having talks about breaking away from the NCAA, however they believe the conference does not have enough power to be successful in such a move.
