The 2012 Duke's World Emmy winners are here! Listen to us announce the winners and their acceptance speeches.

Evan and myself sit down and review the year of 2012, it's been a good one for us. We go through each show and figure out the nominations for the 1st Annual Duke's World Emmy's 2012.

Elaine Vigil has been hanging out at the local Orange County open mics and I wanted to interview her before she got up. She has an incredible story of growing up as a ward of the state with many foster homes and 3 adoptions. It could be a sad story but what I see is the makings of a great comic, I hope she goes for it!

Mark Schumacher is the winner of the Orange County Funniest Person contest. We sat down in the lobby of the Lake Forest craziness hotel and discussed comedy. My producer Evan Cassidy sits in and a couple other comics make some cameos.

Connor made the trip down to Bill Word's Irrrvine-Suitessss or "Tuesday Ton of Laughs". We sat in the lobby of the hotel which is known in some circles for it's transsexual prostitutes and drug deals. We just set up shop in the lobby and let the weirdness ensue. Connor has the makings of a great comic and I'm betting that we see great things from him in the future!

Jake Adams is the main cinematographer for our web series Duke's World. Evan and I talk to Jake about growing up with a Dad who is a professional movie director and a mother who is a comic. We also discuss comedy and his plans for the future. I was able to bring up some awkard tension I felt between us and I think we were able to clear the air. Also, Jake is a part of the Character Comic Alliance and we were able to bring the characters to the podcast.

I have recently reconnected with my friend from high school, Jeremy Webb, who is now participating in a few of my creative projects. Jeremy is very talented, fun, and cool to hang out with. His comedy collaborator Justin Brusca sat in on the interview and I was able to get some insight into their working dynamic. As usual, Evan is prucing the f@$k out of this.

Comic mentor Bill Word puts on a contest once a year called OC's Funniest Person Contest. I interview my friend Bill Howie backstage before and after we do our sets. I was also able to briefly talk to some of the other comics like Mark Schumacher, Vince Harper, Kip Hart and if you listen carefully you might pick up the voice of Barry Weisenberg and Cindy Burns.

One of the most talented comics in the Orange County area is Adam Hastings, I have not only interviewed Adam but I have extended an invitation to the comedy aliance. Upon the Godfather, Evan's approval Adam will be admitted into said alliance and amazing things will then commence. Listen to history in the making and fun conversation with a great comic.
