Paul addresses some of the things we need to know about the Day of the Lord as we continue to work through the passages dealing with end times.

We continue looking at end times and get a glimpse of what is to happen at the return of the King.

We begin looking at the part of the letter that deals with end times. We are not to grieve as those without hope - and the reason is that Jesus died, but was raised to life.

Following on from the imperative to love one another, we are called to live and work hard to reflect God’s work in us.

As we continue our study of 1 Thessalonians we think about the challenge for us to love others. This is not a message about loving those we like, but loving those we don’t like and allowing God’s love change us.

We look at the call to holiness and how we are not to live as those who don’t know God.

As we continue in our study of 1 Thessalonians, we look at the call to walk for God and to please Him.

As we continue in our study of 1 Thessalonians we look at the two elements that helped the Thessalonians to withstand suffering. We will look at the role of faith and love.

We continue in our study of 1 Thessalonians and we look at the role of suffering in the life of the believer.

As we dig into 1 Thessalonians we look at how the recipients of the letter received the word of God, treated the word as the word of God and allowed it to work in their lives. We are to do the same, the big question is if we have the same attitude?
