We continue with our study of 1 Thessalonians. We continue looking at Paul’s motivation for preaching the gospel and how he treated others. Likewise, we are to called to treat others better than ourselves.

We continue with our study of 1 Thessalonians looking at the opening of the second chapter where we look at Paul’s motivation for preaching the gospel and also how we are to deal with the spirit of criticism.

We start a new series looking at the first letter to the Thessalonians. We cover the background and introduction to this important letter.

We conclude our series this morning, reviewing the previous teaching and drawing to a close with some final thoughts.

Continuing in our series setting the direction for the coming years we consider something that we may need to overcome - the spirit of offence. We will consider what it is and how we deal with it.

Following on from the tabernacle we look at the pattern given to us when Jesus taught His disciples how to pray.

We finish looking at the tabernacle and the final piece in the Holy of Holies - the mercy seat. We see that Jesus is the fulfilment of the mercy seat.

We look inside the Holy of Holies and see the Ark of the covenant and look inside at the three things kept inside, the ten commandments, Aaron’s rod and the bowl of manna. We consider the significance for us today.

We move from the holy place and stand on the threshold of the Holy of Holies, and consider our great High Priest - Jesus who has made the way for us to enter in.

We look at the final piece of furniture in the holy place - the altar of incense. We look at the significance that this has for us today.
