Along with our typical monthly selections, we review some movies that were nominated for best picture 2025. In our opinion, 2025 was an awful year for movies, so listen to us berate what the critics loved! Who do you agree with?

Severance, need we say anything more?

March 2025 we are tasked with these movies: Dune 2, You Are Cordially Invited, and Self Reliance. There were highs and lows but a month where we all agreed how we felt about the films, shocking!

We talk about Clint Eastwood’s movie that can cause a real moral dilemma to most people, the DSR crew obviously has no soul! Conclave which is just like Eric’s retelling of his life in the church. We had to pivot and went to the Netflix movie starring Taron Edgerton and Jason Bateman, Carry On.

We watched it all, so you didn’t have to. All the TV and other things we watched in January 2025. Silo return, Severance return, The Return of the Jedi, who knows?!?

In what some would say was our worst group of movies in one given month, we reviewed: The Nutcrackers, Joker 2 : Folie a Deux, Alien Romulus We watched these movies and you can save some time. Sorry, should have said spoiler alert.

We decided in the month of November we would bring you three lackluster selections in movie choices. We bring to you My Old Ass, Salem’s Lot, and Bikeriders… spoiler alert, they sucked!
