As the tournament reaches its final stage, Kain and Zoe prepare for one last battle—one that could earn Zoe the title of Knight of Alfrain.

But the tournament is no longer their greatest concern.

While waiting for the fight to begin, they seek out the city’s highest officials, desperate to warn them of the looming danger hanging over the city. The signs are becoming impossible to ignore, yet convincing those in power may prove harder than the threat itself.

Elsewhere, Sif, Syphina, and Treyvor follow the fragments of a vision.

Believing they’ve found the place where the city’s lord may be taken if the attack unfolds, they venture into uncertain territory with little more than Syphina’s fleeting glimpse to guide them. But even if they’ve found the right location… what happens when the hag and the fey finally make their move?

The city stands on the edge of disaster.

The warnings have been given.

After surviving another assassination attempt, Syphina discovers something unsettling—a strange mark hidden on the inside of her wrist.

The second round of the tournament is underway—and the challenge escalates immediately.

This time, the party faces off against powerful golems, their unrelenting strength forcing a shift in tactics. Syphina’s strategy from the previous round falters as her magic proves ineffective against these constructs, leaving her to quickly adapt or risk being overwhelmed.

Zoe keeps his distance, striking from the shadows and vanishing before the enemy can respond.

Kain follows suit, relying on ranged precision to avoid the crushing blows of the golems.

Meanwhile, Treyvor stands firm against the onslaught, holding the line as best he can.

And Sif? Still committed to entertaining the crowd—who continue to chant, “Drop the sword!”—he channels his magic in a surprising way, transforming Treyvor into something far more… formidable.

With the stakes higher than ever, the party is closer to victory—but the danger has never been greater.
