Four Durham pitchers combined on a six-hit shutout of the Charlotte Knights, with the Bulls defeating the Knights 7-0.

Jeffrey Springs, Angel Sanchez, Michael Gomez and Manny Rodriguez collaborated on the third shutout of the year by Durham pitching.  Springs worked two innings in his first Triple-A rehab start.  Sanchez tossed the next five on 54 pitches.

Durham hit five home runs: Ronny Simon, Heriberto Hernandez, Curtis Mead, Austin Shenton and Logan Driscoll.
