During this story we can see so many relationship we know of.
It is a one sided marriage, with one being rude and stupid, while the other one is smart and level headed.
Abigail's husband Nibal refuses to be good to the fugitive soon king David.
David doesn't plan on taking this disrespect with out responding.
David plans on wiping Nibal and all his family.
Abigail is told how her husband refused.
Abigail took goods and things from her house storage and carried it to David.
She was able to change Davids mind and all was good.
Her husband died shortly after this and she would later become Davids new wife.

In the book of Judges, we read about a female hero called Deborah.
GOD used Deborah to stir up the chosen people to go into war.
Deborah was told by GOD to have the Army leader Barak to gather the people together and go fight King Jabin Army.
King Jabin was led by Sisera.
Barak told Deborah that he would go to war but only if she came along.
She knew what GOD had promised and she didn't fear going because she had faith in GOD.
She told Barak that he wouldn't get credit for the victory, the victory would be given to a woman, her.
This is a great story and encouragement for people to trust GOD.

We love the story of Daniel.
When King Nebuchadnezzar conquered the Israel people, he took all of the brightest and best young men to serve in his kingdom.
One of the reasons for taking the young men was to build up his kingdom.
Another reason was that the slaves would be used as a shield or ransom so the place in which they were taken from would not attack in fear of getting the youth killed.
The king thought he was making the slaves better off by teaching them his ways.
The 3 Hebrew youth refused to worship the kings gods and eat the kings food.
The king told them that he would throw them into the fiery furnace if they didn't bow down.
They stood firm and was bound and thrown into the furnace.
Those soldiers who threw them in died.
The king rose up early and looked into the fiery furnace and was amazed to see 4 men, loose and walking around.
The 4th looked as the son of GOD.
We talk about the furnace setup as we believe it should be.

Samson was a hero that was different than other champions in the bible.
Samson was promised as a savior for the chosen people before he was born.
He was born to a family that had been barren.
An Angel gave the message about this miracle to the wife.
She told her husband and he prayed that the angel to come back and instruct them on the care of this child.
The angel did and told how he would be raised as a Nazarite.
No wine and not cutting of the hair, no contact with the dead.
As long as he followed this guidelines then he would have GOD's power in him.
Give us a listen and we will look closer at this story.

When I was a young boy, my parents got me and my brothers a set of walkie talkies
They were a handheld radio communicator
It took 2 people to make these work.
GOD showed me how these simple toys were like our christian walk.

I used to try to be a fixer, to fix anything that came up.
The first thing we do when something happens is think of ways to fix things.
I know that I am not the only one who had to change my thought process.
GOD has always been the only one that could fix anything.
We can try to do things but we only mess things up.
My thoughts in todays lesson is to help you change your mindset.
To make GOD your first thought.
In the good time, bad time, happy and sad. 
Let GOD be the first thing that comes to your mind.
The easiest way to put GOD first is to keep GOD on our mind.
Constant prayer and communication with GOD is key.

With the change of the seasons, it has gotten colder here in TN.
I heard a person say, "feel the wind of change."
That was true we could feel the wind but not see it.
That got me thinking about reading about different winds in the bible.
We took the time to talk about each of the 4 winds and what the bible tells us about them.
Join me on a look at the winds and how they work.
Many passages on angels and the winds.
It is a fun and boring at times look at wind and how it is made.

Some people and some churches practice the giving of Prayer Cloth to those who are in need of special prayers.
This is nothing new the Apostol Paul would tear off parts of his garment that was covered with his sweat to send out to the needy.
This showed that his walk with GOD was so great that even a piece of cloth with his sweat could heal the sick and heal the demon possessed.
Did you hear me the faith in GOD was so strong that anything was possible.
Today the prayer of true believers can still let GOD work miracles.
It's not the cloth but the extended faith in GOD that does the miracles.
I know that some churches don't practice this action.
Thats ok but I believe that they are missing out on another level of helping the needy.
I carry a prayer cloth with me in my phone case and once I see a need I will pray over it and share the cloth with that person. 
It is our job to share Jesus and his love, what a better way than to share a prayer with someone in need.

Happy Thanksgiving.
In todays lesson we want to focus on being thankful.
We all enjoy the large family gatherings and the wonderful food spreads that come on this day.
But I would encourage you that we need to be thankful daily.
We have so much to be thankful for and we owe it all to JESUS.
Just a reminder of JESUS love for us that we did nothing to deserve.
I am thankful for you all who listen to these podcasts.
I am praying that the right ear will hear this and it will change their lives forever.
