During this lesson we look how our bodies are important.
How we treat our bodies is important.
I am not saying that you need to go overboard or extreme but we should be mindful of how we treat this vessel.
The things that we put into it might not be the best for it.
Just be aware that things you do today might not show up until years down the road.
Trust me, I wasn't nice to my body when I was in the Army and now it is showing up.

This is a quick lesson to talk about Revelations 4 & 5.
In the book it will talk about how Jesus is the key to everything.
And with the book that is sealed, it contains GOD's plan.
It is all in the book and is sealed until Jesus opens it.
Give it a listen and see if it helps clear up somethings.
Don't let the book of Revelations scare you.
It is the telling of how wonderful Heaven will be.
Read and study and learn the word.

In this lesson we will continue to look at the crossing of the Brook Kidron.
Wanting to bring as much information as possible about this action.
We all will have to go over our own Brook Kidron.
The running away from something that we used to invest all of our heart into.
The dreaded crossing knowing that you are facing hardships.
We can take courage in knowing that the best King in the old testament and the Heavenly King of Kings, both had to do it.
We are no better than them and that tells me that we will go thru it and can overcome it when we pray to the father.
The both stopped at the garden to pray, could have been at the same spot.
Just remember that Jesus has been thru it all and with him in us, we can go thru things as well.

This lesson is a continued look at the open sewer system that King David and Jesus Christ would cross over.
From this we will see that these great people would at one point would be doing their best to better this land.
Only to get turned on by their loved ones.
The symbolism of the crossing of the Brook Kidron shows us different things.
That people whom you help will turn on you.
You might have to cross over the blood and water to get to the place of peace.
They both stopped and prayed at the Garden of Gethsemane.
Both were with heavy heart and didn't want to go thru what they were facing.
Both would come back as triumphant victors.
Thank you for listening.

This will be part one in the series on crossing the Brook Kidron.
This is a little covered lesson.
We started reading about Kind David running for his life from his son.
He would cross the Brook Kidron on thru the garden of Gethsemane and then into the mountains.
That would start my journey on crossing the brook.
We know that Jesus also crossed the Brook Kidron the night of the last supper.
Heavy hearted and Jesus knowing that Judas was betraying him as the walked over the bridge to the garden of Gethsemane.
The Brook Kidron was an open sewer that carried blood and water away from the temple.

I wrote this in honor of a fellow Christian Don Tipton.
Don was a wonderful person, he loved his farm and was so talented at brooding birds.
He was riding his motorcycle home from church on day and as he came around a curve in the road.
less than a mile from his home, the devil dropped a tree right on top of him.
it should have killed him but GOD said not today, satan.
Don had his face restored and had some body pain but other than that he was back to normal soon.
Wasn't long that he returned to church and back to work.
We got closer to him after the accident, spending time at his farm with him.
GOD allowed Don to spend a little more time with us because we needed him just a little longer.
Not sure of all the details but we know that Don told someone he didn't feel right, he drove himself to the hospital were they determined his heart failed him.
The big ol Heart that he had in the end failed him.
You are missed my friend.

There is not one person that I have ever known that has never been Church Hurt.
During this lesson I want to talk to you about a different way to look at that.
Even though it is real and happens, it isn't something new.
As far as who should have been the most Church Hurt was Jesus.
The church was against him from the first miracle to hanging him on the cross.
And Jesus loved them besides all of that.
Jesus forgave them for how they treated him.
Most of us will hold on to the way that a church leader or member did us.
Let it go, forgive and move on, we can't be loving GOD and hating those we can see.
This was true in my life and I know that Jesus wants us working together to shine his light thru us to the lost world.

We know that this walk with Jesus is all about faith.
We trust GOD to help us make it thru.
Todays lesson is about Abram wondering about when GOD will give him and his wife a child.
The promised one that would soon come.
GOD shows Abram the stars and then asked Abram to cut up animals for a covent with GOD.
GOD is the one who walks thru the cut in half animals.
GOD takes on the responsibilities of completing that covenant with man.
GOD reveals that he has a plan, GOD knew before he made this world.

GOD you are the needle, and I am the thread.
this lesson is one that came from a missionary while in Africa.
We know that GOD uses different things to teach us.
In this we will hear about a young man who had visited a school/
while at the school he watched the children learning to sew/
he noticed the simple task.
The needle led and the thread followed.
if we would apply this to our lives then we can do some mending and repairing along the way.
It is a plain action that has solid results.

So if you are a Christian then you will be in a spot that you are praying for someone or something.
Or you are asking for prayer for something or someone.
When we ask for prayer it isn't that we don't trust that GOD can do whatever we need.
We ask for prayer because we know that we are in this battle together.
We need each other to get thru the current trial.
Some of the things we need prayer of is so that GOD can build our faith in his power.
A test of faith will be used to make us trust GOD more.
We love that GOD is always teaching us and showing us that we can trust him.
GOD always true.
GOD never lies and always wants to give us more than we can ever know.
