DW:60’s Press Row Podcast

It’s the first podcast of 2020 and we’re kicking things off in the New Year with some great headlines to talk about from the Walt Disney World Resort.  Starting things off are details for Annual Passholders and how you can save some money during your next trip.  Next Nicole and I discuss the latest news out of the Pop Century Resort that changes your transportation options to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot.  Speaking of Epcot, construction of the monorail line might cause you some delays, and we have finally seen the final days of Mousegear (the flagship merchandise location at Epcot) as it closes to go through some refurbishments.  But not to worry, a temporary location has been established to buy merchandise.  And finally, we’ll discuss a suicide attempt on the Walt Disney World Ferryboat.

On this episode of DW:60’s Press Row Podcast Nicole is joining me once again for the show and we are talking about the recent opening of Star Wars Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Even after the extremely positive reactions from guests getting to see the attraction, there are still many fans of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge asking this question even though the land at DHS is finished…. “Is this all there is, is there nothing more?”  Nicole and I try to answer that question.

Another week and another podcast!!  This time around the main topic for the show is Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s.  Seems that Disney is making some changes in the land that make it just slightly less immersive than before.  Some might call this change very minor but if they’ll change this, what else might they change in the future?  Also find out how much it would cost you if you wanted to try literally every single item at this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!

This week on DW:60’s Press Row Podcast we start off the show with news from the Disney Parks Blog on Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.  Then we’ll switch gears and talk about a Disney Fan who was arrested recently at Disney’s Hollywood Studio while being intoxicated.  News of this event immediately brought up alcohol being available at Walt Disney World Parks, and if Disney should be regulating the amount of alcohol guests can purchase at events like Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival.  Then in this week’s Rumor of the Week, word is that the FuelRod service available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort might not be free anymore to swap out for a new FuelRod.
