Dwell On Truth

Part 2 of our January 22 outreach to Dave Michaels' Flight 1080 AM radio show, hear calls from ex-Jehovah's Witnesses and Daniel Beaudoin and Brenten Powers try to lead Dave away from false religions to the true gospel.

The theme and purpose statement of the letter: An appeal to contend for the Christian faith.

Jude verse 3 "Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints."

Are all religions basicly the same, a system of rules for good works to make yourself a good person so you can reach a higher power? No! On this episode of Dwell On Truth, hear part 1 of our 1/22/2020 visit to the Flight 1080 show, Brenten Powers and Daniel Beaudoin give a defense for what makes Christianity different, explaining the Gospel of Grace, why the only true way to God is through Jesus Christ. Come, see and hear how Dan and Brenten present the gospel 1-5pm 1/25/2020 by Monterey Wharf. Brenten begins a series of verse by verse studies through Jude by reading all 25 verses and teaches from verse 1 and 2. Learn about the author and recipients of this important little Biblical letter, and consider how the description of Christians applies to you. This teaching was heard on Latvian Christian radio in 6/12/2012 and KKMC AM880 in California on 1/18/2020. One of the best segments of our Evangelistic and Apologetic outreach to KSCOs Flight 1080 show, hosted by Dave Michaels. Not only do Daniel and Brenten get great feedback and questions from callers, but also from Dave about where he stands before God and why he likes having them on his show monthly.

Brenten introduces a new segment of DWELL On Truth that will air Sunday nights on AM 880 KKMC radio. This 15 minute segment will be verse by verse Bible studies. Next week we'll begin the book of Jude.

Listen in as Brenten Powers, Daniel Beaudoin, Dave Michaels and callers discuss Jesus vs mythical ideas popularized by movies like Zeitgeist and Religulous. There's also a call from an animal lover wandering why Jesus doesn't put animals on a pedestal instead of humans.

For this special holiday episode of Dwell On Truth, Brenten discusses the reason for Christmas with friends from the Flight 1080 show. Special thanks to Mavrik brand and marketing agency for sponsoring this episode. Link: https://bit.ly/2pvLmaf

This week, I share half of an outreach I did with Daniel Beaudoin on KSCO radio show "Flight 1080" hosted by Dave Michaels. We answer questions about Jehovah's Witnesses, Biblical Mono-theism, the age of the earth, and atheists arguments. Next week we'll discuss Kanye West's conversion, original sin, and ask Dave and callers why they are not yet Christians.

In 1 John 2:15-17, the Apostle John calls believers to forsake the love of the world because we have God's love in us. Be encouraged that the Gospel effects our affections at the deepest level so we can live for God's will, and enjoy eternal life now and forever.
