Dwell On Truth

On April 15th, Brenten shared the hope of the Gospel during the pandemic crisis as a guest on the Flight 1080 show. At the end, his sister called in to express her perspective and reaction as an atheist.

On April 15th, Brenten Powers and Daniel Beaudoin were guests for the last hour of the Flight 1080 show hosted by Dave Michaels and Jack Stein. Questions included should Government give to illegal immigrants? Did God cause the Corona virus? What about the problem of sin, suffering, and the fear of death? Atheists call in to claim there is no evidence of God, but would they really accept evidence if we gave it to them? Brenten's atheist sister called in at the end, but we'll share that conversation on the next episode.

In the final verses of Jude, we focus on the glory due to God for the work he does in our lives through Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dwelling on this truth gives us great assurance and faith for eternal glory and joy.

Brenten Powers' last hour as guest on the Flight 1080 show hosted by Dave Michaeals on KSCO. This episode of Dwell on Truth airs Friday 4/16/20 on KKMC AM880. Tune into the next live show from 4-7pm Wednesday 4/15/20 at Facebook.com/dwellontruth

Dave continues reading the Bible and asks great questions about the chosen people, Jehovah's witnesses and what to look for in the New Testament. Callers ask about the purpose of Jesus, is he more than just a good example? Brenten and Daniel share the gospel and gently corrects those oppose the truth (2Tim.2:25)

16 These are grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining an advantage. 17 But you, beloved, ought to REMEMBER the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18 that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” 19 These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.
