We are BACK! Sorry we have been MIA for 2 weeks... and we are coming back a day late. We are excited to get back into the swing of things. With spring has come new life for both of us and we hope you are all feeling it too! We can't wait to chat with you all this season about some juicy topics.
As always, join in the conversation at https://www.instagram.com/dwellingonpodcast
PS... this photo was taken 11 years ago. Brittany is no longer this skinny, nor will she ever be again.
We are playing catch up this week and checking in on the challenges from all of our prior episode. Bonus: We chat about gardening and chickens for the first 20 minutes.
Let us know at http://www.instagram.com/dwellingonpodcast if we spouted any wrong info about tulips or chickens!
Cheers friends and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
In today's episode we discuss raising independent kids through respectful parenting, Montessori learning, and baby-led weaning.

In this episode we talk about spring fashion... even though we have absolutely no authority on the subject. We would love to know your favorite trends of this season and don't forget to join the challenge and let us know how you'll be moving out of your fashion comfort zone this week.

In this episode, we talk about one of Brittany's favorite topics... Homesteading! Homesteading doesn't have to be one certain way. We chat about how we both are working toward a more natural, from scratch life. This week's challenge is to make one thing from scratch this week you have never made before OR make a sustainable swap!
Don't forget to let us know about your challenge @dwellingonpodcast on instagram.
The show will be moving to WEDNESDAYS from here on out so don't forget to follow us and get notifications on your phone each time we upload a new episode.
Some people hate the term self care, but we don't care! Whatever you want to call it, it's necessary. Some people are better are physical self care (no, not that kind you sicko), and some are better at mental self care. We all need to create little rituals for both (so long as those rituals aren't adding extra stress, because that totally defeats the purpose).
What are your rituals for self care? Do you do anything we didn't mention? Let us know over on Instagram:

Cheers!
In this episode we basically talk about how disgusting we are... But really... We are looking at how often you are "supposed" to clean things, and how often we actually do. We hope that you will feel better about your life when you hear how much we don't clean, yet, our houses still look pretty decent (at least I think)!

Today we wanted to dwell on the reasons we are in this space (the internet world, that is). We want to provide a relatable space where we air out all of the hard homemaker things and create a network of solidarity. This week we challenge you to reach out in solidarity to another homemaker, whether you need help or you provide your unique talents to someone in need. "We're all in this together." IYKYK.

In this episode we talk about unmet expectations and communication in marriage. Spoiler alert: Your spouse cannot actually read your mind. You have to communicate your expectations to each other. We have a little bit more difficult challenge to dwell on this week: TALK to your spouse or partner. Tell them something that has been bothering or weighing on you and air it all out! BUT... you also have to take it back and let them "nag" you a bit. This can be as serious or as silly as you'd like! If you feel it is appropriate, let us know what you got out in the open or let us know your your conversation went.

Today we dwell on the little things we do each day to keep the house running. We are launching a new weekly challenge for your own "dwelling" and this week we challenge you to do one new thing that has either been weighing on your mind or that can be incorporated into your regular routine to set yourself up for success.
Don't forget to join in the conversation @dwellingonpodcast on Instagram and tell us more about your regular routines and update us on your challenge!
