If there ever was a society that makes patience an endangered attribute, it’s ours. But the Bible tells us that we must wait patiently on the Lord, because He has a plan and a time for each of us. You don’t have to look too long these days to find examples of horrible crimes committed against innocent people. The numerous mass shootings. Yet, no matter what the act, no matter how terrible, if the person who commits them asks God to forgive them with a repentant heart and receives salvation through Jesus Christ - they’re going to Heaven. That truth is a little hard to grasp, isn’t it?
