Labor Day. America’s celebration of work. Which is ironic, because the people who talk the most about “workers” usually never worked a real day in their lives. You think Gavin Newsom has ever swung a hammer? The closest that guy’s come to a hard day’s work is trying to unstick his hair gel cap.
Marcus Lemonis figured it out. He bought Bed Bath & Beyond, then looked at California and said, “Why should I give my labor — my capital, my employees, my effort — to a state that treats me like the bad guy?” Lemonis agonized over it. Moving a business is expensive. But in the end, he knew Newsom doesn’t care about survival. He only cares about virtue-signaling while businesses drown.
